Welcome to the the Sport Management Graduate program in The College of Human Environmental Sciences at The University of Alabama. Our faculty members have developed a 30-hour graduate level emphasis in Sport Management designed to give prospective sport professionals a solid foundation for success in a variety of career functions in the Sport Industry. The CHES Sport Management Graduate Program at the University of Alabama is designed to provide each student with a quality education, using a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach, in order to gain the management knowledge and specific skills necessary for success in any sport industry setting.

The College of Education
The mission of the master's degree in human performance with an emphasis in Sport Management is to provide students with the knowledge to become leaders in the sports industry. Through a nurturing environment driven by mutual respect, collegiality, empowerment, and professional growth, the curriculum provides students with a theoretical knowledge of the various aspects of the business and social elements of Sport Management. This coursework is complemented with a field experience internship in the sport industry. This 30-hour degree program is composed of 24 hours of required classes and 6 hours of electives which can be completed in one academic year. Open admission is granted in fall, spring, and summer semesters.
